BlockScore allows you to gradually build up a profile of your customer throughout the duration of your relationship. Start with just a name and add a date of birth, document or address as you learn more about them - we help you rescan them every step of the way.
In an international marketplace, customers will have names with varying character sets from Latin to Arabic to Cyrillic. BlockScore supports searching in all major alphabets so you do not miss important watchlist hits.
Our search algorithms take into account that most data that reaches us is imperfect. We intelligently match spelling mistakes, imperfect formatting, common name aliases, transposed words, hundreds of common abbreviations like “St”, “Rd”, “Inc” and more.
We support as many lists as possible from all across the world so that no matter where you are, you can achieve watchlist scanning compliance. You can see all of the lists that we support below.

We categorize all watchlist hits as either entities or individuals allowing you to immediately filter out irrelevant results. If you don't know the category of your subject, we also offer a traditional combined search containing both types of results.
Our advanced data extraction techniques allow us to pull the maximum amount of information out of watchlists possible. We normalize and extract data supplied by governments in free-form text fields allowing you to search and match against more data such as document numbers, dates of birth and addresses with ease.
Where possible we link directly to supporting government material for a hit in case additional review is needed. These can be web pages provided by issuing bodies or PDFs of official enforcement documents.
We use the newly released and state of the artAdvanced Data Model for the consolidated Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) lists giving you more information off which to base watchlist hit decisions.
By modifying one number you are able to increase or decrease the sensitivity of your watchlist searches. This value can be configured dynamically based the risk profile of any given customer.
Our supported lists are updated every day of the week regardless of whether it is a holiday or a weekend. This ensures that no matter the timezone or locality of your customers, our lists are always up-to-date within a 24-hour window.
